Introduction

Here are the most common questions I have gotten through public comments & private messages.

Q.1) What does this mod do or add?

This mod is meant as a replacement for Native. It does not boast fancy new features as other mods but it does try to keep to the original vision that Taleworlds had for the game. It improves every aspect it can in a realistic way. There are other mods that are better in terms of polish and features but to me, this mod strengths is in its simplicity.

Q.2) Was there a team of people working on this mod?

Nope. It was a one man job.
Though, there are many OSP's used in this mod which I take no credit in making.

Q.3) Does this mod have permanent death?

No. Although this mod is called 'Realistic Mod' that was not something that I wanted to include in the mod. I did consider having an option for it at some point but the thought of trying to implement it with my current modding capabilities at the time was not worth it.

Q.4) Does this mod include fantasy weapons/magic?

As the title suggests, the mod is based entirely around realism. If fantasy elements is what you are looking for, then I suggest you look else where.

Q.5) Is the combat system different?

I am no animator, so I have decided that I will keep using warband's animations, with other animations from other OSP mods to make the combat feel fresh.

Q.6) Custom Troops?

Yes. Once you have a kingdom set up, change your kingdom culture to 'Calradian' and customise away.

Q.7) Siege Artillery?

Unfortunately, as much as I would like to overhaul the entire siege system, it was beyond my abilities at the time.

Q.8) New quests?

There are couple.

Q.9) Children?

Nope. Was also beyond my modding abilities at the time.

Q.10) Building castles and villages?

I did have a feature but it became too unstable and didn't fit with the vision I had for the mod.

Q.11) Executing Lords/Ladies/Soldiers?

I also had a feature for this but it just didn't work the way I wanted it too so I abandoned it.

Q.12) Lance Recruitment System?

I do believe that is exclusive to that mod and the source code is not an OSP. I believe the current system is fine and am sure you will agree with me too.

Q.13) A Main Story line?

No. I believe in Taleworlds original idea of the player creating there own story.
