Today we can show off our new Jetski, which was supplanted by the airboat in the retail version of Half-Life 2. This model is based on the original concept from RTB.
It is smaller than the airboat seen in HL2, and includes an M60 at Gordon's side to defend himself with in the canals.
Finally, we leave you with two images of things to come soon, do you know them? ;)
I love "leak-based" mods. It's just fantastic to see what came before the retail Half-Life 2.
The game was going to be so huge, and in the end, it was toned down a lot. We lost the Air Exchanger, the Borealis, the Depot among other awesome things. The original idea in which the air was unbreathable (due to the AirEx) and people had to wear gas masks was amazing.

This might help you with the modeling if you didn't know this already, but in the raising the bar book, it says it was taller than a strider and at about 60 ft tall. Big *** mufackin' monsta'.

Hmm... I don't think the jet-ski would be a good idea, Valve removed it because the playtester got nauseated with it.
