Why not? Acccording to the Silmarilion his army consisted 200k orcs, balrogs and other evil creatures during the last war for Beleriand. It's actually pretty faithful to the book, and it' gives quite a challenge to the player, I think;)
I sure hope Melkor won't have 200k troops :O

200k stomps everything,trust me,it doesn't matter how much he had in the books it needs 2 be balanced for the game :D
They're nerfed to reflect the superhuman fighting abilities of the elven warriors in the first age.
