it doesnt work in gzdoom
nothin happens no models
Don't be too hard on yourself, it looks really neat. Are you gonna model weapons and stuff, cos that'd be sick!
BTW I didn't grow up with these games. I'm 13, I love old games, most of all doom. Just finished my first quake playthrough, it's really cool. Combining these together would work really well. And it does, although what I've personally seen in Doom in idTech 2 and 3, not Quake in idTech 1.
This was a really poor attempt to recreate the feel of the old Quake models. Still, I feel like I learned some stuff from it. Instead of making a mod for Doom I'm going to try to make a "retro" style game of my own. In Godot. Where I can really experiment with gameplay and artstyles.
I think I'm gonna do a total rehaul of this mod at some point in the near future. Keep an eye out for that.
what source port is this compatible?
Works in zandronum and it should work in gzdoom. Are you having problems running it?
