Pwrweapons is basically a server host’s dream, as a Pwrweapons host you can control the game play through cvars in the cvar.cfg instantly while in the game.This mod requires only server hosts to download...version 8 is server side only. FOR SINGLE PLAYER example: C:\quake3\quake3.exe +set fs_game Pwrweapons +exec server.cfg +addbot sarge 1 1 1 1 +addbot mynx 1 1 1 1 + addbot crash 1 1 1 1 + addbot ranger 1 1 1 1 +addbot lucy 1 1 1 1 That will run pwrweapons execute the server.cfg and give you 5 bots all on the lowest level all named 1 (i for get what all them ones mean) To create a short cut right click your quake.exe and then create shortcut cut and paste to your desktop, then right click the short cut, click properties and put the above line in where it says target For a dedicated server right click the pwrweapons.bat then click edit and change the path to where your q3 is located ================================================= ===== BINDS: bind x belt // gives ya an antigravity...

Awesome.. Haven't seen this for years.. Just got our Quake game back from our son and thought we'd do a little Googling, and found a name from the past... I think I was the Venus_envy, changing my nickname for little digging at the 'others'.. We had a riot playing Quake III Power Weapons. Was very happy to be a part of this group and have such great times.. It's too bad that this game was so prone to hacking..You think that they have moved on or at least grown up? LOL I hope so on both counts.. Well maybe we'll find the time to get another server up and running. Take care and hope to see some old friends :)
