Proyect-Z is a MORPG (Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) set in a post-apocalyptic world. implemented with the Orange Box source engine (Half life 2 deathmatch modification). Using databases allow data persistence getting a similar experience to a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), but due to limitations of the engine, map is divided into zones with loads between them. When the player has created his account to play, have a PJ (character) protected by a username and password. Each time a player leaves the game, the server stored in the database throughout the state of play: life, abilities, items, ammo, etc. When the player connect to the server using the username and password from any PC, he will have his character and inventory exactly as he left it last time.
Proyect-Z closes his servers the day July 4 permamentment due to lack of funds to pay the next month of the dedicated server.

well, thats a shame.
any chance of more servers after some development?
no way any chance of getting it back up or trying to get other people to donate?
Well that sucks. Oh well. I couldn't even start the game anyway!
If for the 4th of July still have not enough funds to pay the bill of server, we will unfortunately have to close.
We will continue to develop new revisions, and perhaps in some six months back to open. We can not contract and cancel the service of a dedicated server continuously.
aw well good luck guys!
From 1 point of view that's not as bad as you may think, they will work only on the development part, and when servers get back online, they will have a very fresh release with tons of new stuff (I hope)! It might also bring new players since it will be a significant update... But still, I'm very sorry for you guys...
Well, just let them expand and build upon the code, and in a few months, when they have a well built and standing project they will re-open the servers.
