Project Vanshing Point takes place in a city that has been abandoned for the last 50 years. While different factions roam the outskirts and mountains a distress signal begins erupting from the tower at the center of the city. your mission is simple: travel through the abandoned city and figure out what is happening at the heart of the tower. We are trying to push source to it's limits to expect the requirements to be fairly high for a source based game.

The textures just seem too protruding. like you can really see the seams of brushes :/
Not all the textures are properly aligned at the moment. This was just a quick test of a new way of doing our normal maps.
Also these bricks bump looks too freaky, make it less hard edged and intensive, as all bump maps you have did, but asphalt one looks ok.
And some tips about this scene:
-Add some concrete base for these metal trusses.
-Add some details to the walls, such as pipes/switches/electricvoxes/lil' colums or supports.
-Also some wires hangin from the ceiling would be nice.
-Try to add some func_smokevolumes with high scaled textures of smoke and low alpha. -> Developer.valvesoftware.com These allways make a nice atmosphere and have wide fields of use.
i think the reason it looks freaky is that the lights in the scene are way too strong.
