Description

Cornerstone of Phantom's technological advantage appears to be their knowledge on how to harness some sort of unknown, exotic physical phenomenon that allows them to warp or ignore certain firmly established laws of physics. This phenomenon seems to be connected to exotic particles found within crystals after the Shift, dubbed Exolis and Exolite crystals by the scientists who first published their findings on them.

Phantom Infinity Core is an advanced base structure that draws these particles from an unknown source to utilize for various purposes. Chiefly, the mere presence of an Infinity Core will improve efficiency any Phantom resource conversion processes. More notably, it will grant access to some of Phantom's more advanced technologies and special abilities, such as to teleport vehicles and certain infantry anywhere or to relocate base buildings to certain destinations.

Activating Entropic Focus will temporarily reallocate Infinity Core functions to create a rift on the building that will zap any nearby enemies with energy bolts and allows the Infinity Core to keep certain base buildings online regardless of base power output and offers buffs & improvements to certain unit weapons and base defenses. All this however, comes at the price of disabling the teleport resource conversion bonus abilities.

Cadmus Exocollider is an exceedingly powerful siege weapon mounted on a hovering vehicle chassis, capable of projecting a stream of unstable Exolis particles across a considerable distance to create a destructive blast. The weapon's design normally requires charging up to reach maximum potential, both firepower and area of effect-wise, but Cadmus has an alternative firing mode that can produce a constant burst, however this is noticeably less effective against vehicles for some reason, and does not reach maximum firepower or area-of-effect of the charging mode.
