Edward Hädelberg, once a successful archeologist, is hired by an oligarch from Prussia to find an ancient capital in the Nordryggen mountains of the Norway. Lost capital was believed to be fallen underground during the Titan Wars in Scandinavic lands milleniums ago. Legends state that a huge amount of treasure is hidden within the ruins of the capital. Edward accepts the offer of 10,000 Thallers and heads to the Norway. A mysterious and dangerous adventure awaits Edward as he progresses through the lost dungeons full of abyssal creatures.
I admit I've never played Dark Souls, but this mode really got me. A fantasy story set in the world of Amnesia - great, non-traditional, original, fascinating, stunning ... In short, something worth playing and returning to it repeatedly.
This was pretty enjoyable. I liked the tons of references to Dark Souls, but sometimes it was a bit too much. For example all the dialogues are cut from the games themselves, however i liked how they were put into different context along with some spells and items as well. The level design was unusual yet atmospheric, the last level was top notch, too bad it ended so suddenly and the background story as mentioned, made no sense whatsoever. But it was cool to see some souls mechanics implemented into Amnesia, something i'm also working on for a while now myself, i just wish it was somewhat longer and had more narration or logic behind it, but i liked the throwbacks, the areas and some unique events.
Something to top things off, a few puzzles would have been pretty confusing unless i played the games myself (like the archdragon peak travelling meditation), you should give players some clues about these! I hope you add extra levels that you cut because it really had potential :) And i'm hoping you release something else in the future!
Liked the design alot
Considering I myself have played all of the Soulsborne games, this was great to play.
The custom story introduces new content and makes it different than the usual Amnesia custom stories you find.
The level design was decent.
Can't really give positives on some things considering some are taken from Dark Souls 3 itself, also most of the music too.
Some models I can see that you got from other Amnesia mods which is great, that way you can see them more than just one Amnesia mod.
I did get stuck a couple of times and not knowing what to do and died a couple of times.
One thing I'd like to mention is how the dialogues where cut directly from the game, voice acting aswell so as I've mentioned before.
I can't give pros for the voice acting either since it was directly taken from Dark Souls 3.

This custom story is very unusual in my opinion. It looks highly inspired from the Dark Souls 3. However, I'm so amazed!
Positive:
+ NPC's are well made. They're also animated.
+ Quest are unusual and organized.
+ Puzzles are also unusual. Sitting on the carpet is amazing part for me.
+ Voice actors are great.
+ Level designs are outstanding. Especially on Profaned Capital map.
+ New music and sounds are the good choice for this custom story.
Negative:
- You may experiencing fps drop on snowy map sometimes.
- Despite this cs have great scripts, I found some bug. When you saved this custom story on the menu, you cannot pull or push the shelf.
- Less than hour to play unless you know what to do.
- Some monster got stuck on the wall when they're chasing you.
Hopefully, you can make another custom story something like this. You are very talented for this one :)
It's a very good demo, you left me wanting more, but for a demo it's great. The only thing thaat drove me off it was a frame drop while going to de profaned capital. It was nice to play it, and I being a fan of the Dark Souls game series I personaly love it. Hope you finish this amazing CS.
Perfect idea with a perfect execution. A gratifying surprise for Dark Souls fans.

The new entities are cool, and the idea of magical rings and spells. The story is a strange mix of dark souls and attack on titans, which felt unoriginal. It felt a little short for what it had to offer. Overall an average custom story, I recommend checking it out if you enjoy seeing new creatures and abilities.
