PREDATOR - THE HEAT OF THE JUNGLE
A small group of commandos, on a mission in a Central American jungle, are sent by the CIA to rescue captured airmen from Guerillas. But it's not the armed terrorists which are the problem. Something hidden in the jungle, something invisible to the naked eye, something not of this earth is the problem. As Dutch and his men head back to transport, they are slowly targeted one by one.
Utilizing the most powerful game engine to date - CryEngine 2, will make it an unforgettable journey to the pure Predator universe. Predator - THOTJ is a quick sketch mod, sort of a concept, of how a Predator game on a modern game engine would look like. You will take the role of commando and 3 freely choosable comrades to help you out on the mission.

freakness, what happened to the animator you had?
i can make the trailer if you're interested. i have plenty of experience.
Ok here is the deal. I need someone who can make the footage of the mod for the trailer. I shall provide the needed software for this and I shall give the v0.3 mod. The trailer wont be in high definition so ultrahigh resolution wont matter. The options should be as follows:
shaders, physics, shadows, volumetric, fx, particles, water, sound, objects, postproc: ultrahigh; textures: high; antialiasing: off; resolution: 1024X768 and up. If you can run this at 25fps with Fraps on - you qualify.
I ******* hate avp movies. This mod will be pure predator mod no one ever will convince me to do otherwise. Shuriken makes me vomit.
you dont have to go according to the movie you know ! i think if you spice it up with some new weapons for the predator it would be great. like the Shuriken used in Predator vs Alien one and 2, or the "Blade Disk" that you have posted the concept art.
btw are going to have extreme gore ?! like skinning humans and Separating the spine from flesh. that would look awesome in FP mode :)
Be sure to atleast put a predator in this version then.

v 0.2 is gone :) But v0.3 is soon to hit the net. You just wait a little more, because now I am very busy so I can't dedicate more time to the mod.
