no offense, but this is extremely mediocre work. your walls are to thick, your not using custom textures, and do you even know how to unsnap from the grid? i suggest you look at some tutorials before you continue doing what your doing.
By unsnapping from the grid you can enter your own dimensions/widths for walls, floors, etc. Besides, what makes it so bad practice? The grid is just there for a guideline in case you need it, they aren't forcing you to use it. Unsnapping from the grid also lets you freely place the boxes you make wherever you want, like say you don't want to model a TV stand, so you make one quick while in the hammer editor, no snap lets you move it to precise locations, dilate it, mirror it, etc, and its not like you have to be unsnapped all the time.

What? Putting things off the grid in Hammer is incredibly bad practice. Don't do it.
