Hey everyone!
Over the past few months we have been quite quiet on moddb.
However, we've been quite busy on Portal Stories!
A few weeks back we've finally been able to sent a selected group of experienced mappers a first beta build of the map. The feedback we've gotten was very positive and extremely helpful. We've made a big list of all the issues that have been found and we're now working on fixing them as we speak. These errors range from a model overlapping another model to some totally unintended solutions. We are working closely with the testers to get the errors out as soon as we can.
Does that mean the mod is almost ready to be released?
Unfortunately, it doesn't. The beta mod we've sent out was mostly to test out the puzzles and the maps that are related to that. We have still a lot of work to do on the story, the music and the intro and the outro. The intro and outro maps are something that we've been working on for a while but are very complex and requires various assets not found in portal 2. Getting them in requires a lot more time and effort.
Now you might be wondering if you can be sent the next build for the Portal Stories beta?

We might consider it indeed, the problem is that we have no idea how our chances are. Also the $90 fee is something we have to get together ;)
Maybe you could try to get part of the $90 via donation.
You're mod seems to be really great, and I also think you have already a lot of Fans of your Mapping, that are waiting for the mod, and may would donate to get it on greenlight.
Just a suddenly idea, but you can think about it :D

We aren't really skilled in hammer, but in testing the desingn of maps, and the puzzles themselve (otherwise making a Map-Test magazin would be very hard xD ), so i think we maybe can help you if you need testers^^
