A complete remake of Portal on the Portal 2 engine. I'm first going to recreate the entire game, with the same puzzles, story, etc. Also, if you see an update of a chamber further on in the game, this doesn't mean I'm that far, I'm not going to make the maps in order.
So you guys were complaining about the brightness, so how's this?
Its not just the brightness, there is something called lighting detail. This looks flat and boring, it needs more obvious shadows and diversity. I mean look at some rooms in Portal 2, clean rooms, no broken glass, yet the dynamic light does everything. Its all about placement, color, and brightness. Experiment a bit.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but I actually did change the color of the lighting. As for placement and detail, this is still a WIP, if you look there aren't indicator lights for the buttons. But I did change the brushes that would be in the light to a lightscale of 5, but the only lighting in the picture is from 2 spotlights. I'll add a projected texture in here soon :)
AN UPDATE :D, and an amazing one. Good job although you'll need to edit the lighting but for the mapping it's great, again good job.

The cameras from the first Portal looked better.
Well that's opinionated. I love the portal 2 cameras.
