Thorns ripped into my skin as I tumbled down the large hill. When I rolled to a stop I heard footsteps approaching me from all angles. Gunfire scattered the woods around me. I found myself running, crawling, and hiding like a marine, through bushes and trees. When I arrived at a clearing I made a run for safety. While in mid stride my shoe hit something, causing me to trip and make a large imprint in the towering grass. I stood up and turned around to find out that what I tripped over was a soldier with an M-16 assault rifle pointed at me. In a primal effort to protect myself, I put both my hands in front of me to block the bullet. In doing this I noticed that on my left arm was a strange symbol scratched in by the thorn bushes; every line highlighted with blood. The bullet came propelling me backward into a long fall through a rusty void.
