here are some offical features which will be in PKMN:O. we are still open for suggestions.
Features:
* Gyms
- like in the Gameboy games you need to win badges to get further in the game
* Combat System
- when your in a Battle you take control of your Pokémon, you control movements, attacks etc.
* Body Shop
- Simulare to "The Sims" where you customize your own Character using prebuild models like pants,shoes, jackets, hats etc.
* Trade
- Trade Pokémon with fellow players, some Pokémon's even require this to evolve
* PvP
- Battle fellow players for REP, Pokémoney and XP.
* Level System
- XP/Level System like in the GB games.
*Legendary Pokémon
- capture Legendary Pokémon's which spawn 1 of 1 time each month or less.
*New Routes/Cities
- explore New routes & Cities in the Kanto Region never seen before.

AWESOME! I mean im not really in to pokemon (i used to) but MAN this is AWESOME!!
How would you be able to do this though? Wouldnt you be using the offical pokemon and gyms etc, how will you get around licencing and rights etc?
Thats something i want to know too. They seem pretty selfish to let anyone use their stuff for even a NON-profit mod.. =S
My idea of great pokemon battle system.
all pokemon games I have played it sucks...
So maybe I could suggest You an Idea- when battle begins both players can attack, and if both players launch same attack at once, then happens either that smoke blast as it is in anime, or if one pokemon is stronger then his attack beats opponents attack and gets opponent too. And when someone attacks first, it happens in motion but player has option to dodge it, or counter, or consume and whatever, but longer he cant figure out what to use, his dodging and counter ability lowers, and there would be dodging ability skill what can be trained, or not exactly dodging skill but speed, 'coz dodgin depends on speed, and if speed is upgraded then when again happens attack motion, but this time from players side, then his pokemon hits much faster, without letting computer quickly react, but that again depends on computers pokemon training, and another thing if player or coumputer, has his motion, player or computer can make him control attacks, but from dodging choices would be, to wich side, but those would be sidechoices gained by training. And You should make possible to players to combine attacks, totally brand new combinations for contests what arent on anime or in battles, offcourse it could ask tough training.
Offcourse I understand that it will ask for You more modelling, coding and stuff, but this would make an awsome pokemon game.
thats loooong, that seems to be impossible to do in any engine, the current plan is simple: its real-time, anyone can start(not sure ask dr.ice)no turns, attacks can be made after last ones, doging is up to you, for ranged and other stuff you have to aim...once again for more ask dr.ice. thanks for you input
