Let’s start this week’s news by thanking the Moddb.com Staff for awarding our team the “Visual Delight Award”. To better support our community the POE Operations group has made some enhancements to our site & forums. First thing to report is that we have setup RSS on our forums. To be able to get the benefit of RSS you will need to have a compatible RSS news reader. The RSS Feed info is located at the bottom of the forums page in the lower left. Users can select POE’s News, Discussion, Suggestions, & Mapping topics to be shown in their RSS reader. Next enhancement that has been added is a server info page. For this weeks renders let’s begin with in-game screenshots of “Illicitfilm’s” level that he is designing. It’s amazing the amount of work that he has put into his first POE:2 level in such a short amount of time. One of our members that we should also highlight is “Jilted”. He’s taken on the responsibility of developing all of the static’s that are added to our maps and has done a great job with modeling & skinning them.
We have been getting requests to show more in-game screenshots of the infantry weapons so we decided to showcase a few this week. We have the G-36 Rifle with the AG-36 Grenade Launcher, PB69P Pistol, and the MSG-90 Sniper Rifle.
We would also like to congratulate the Forgotten Hope team for their last completed build release for Battlefield:1942 which will be version .7 This will be a 2Gig download that will be well worth it.
