unfortunatly.. very bad..
Well.. the idea is amazing, but teh creation itself didnt make it..
Just too much flawws imo.
WAY too dark, no clues for some quests, no idea at ALL what the story was about... (untill the end, and that was a bit stragne to me)
Still the idea was great!
cool scares, and some nice things like new models.
The Penumbra monster is just a no go for me, just way to over used.
Also.. WHY so many maps?
ALL of this could have been done in 1 map.
Just change the color of the skyboxed and the syboxes itself.??
Destroyed the atmophere :S
and the grammar... we better do'nt speak about that.. before uploading, please let someone take care of that next time..
Overall.. bad - okayish..
IF improved i will rethink the rating.

Keep making games\mods, you can do it!

Not the worst, but still hot garbage.

If ya don't speak fluid English, don't even bother translating your mod into the language. That doesn't make sense.

This doesn't really deserve to be a full conversion mod other than the fact that the lantern is now a flashlight and there's a few retextured keys.

The storyline is a good concept, but what was done with it was very poorly executed. There were a few good scares, but most of it was bad and ruined by the awful grammar.

A single door in the house was different for the single purpose of jumpscaring the player.

The "puzzles" are awful. The player is never hinted towards where they're supposed to go to find what item, nor are they told where to use that item.

Doors in the house and other areas become available randomly without any indication, thus the player has no idea they can go there now.

Finding the flashlight is the hardest thing in the game. You have to first get a crowbar in a room that unlocked with no indication, and then use it on a basic environmental object that was never hinted towards needing the crowbar used on it. Which then will reveal a key you have to figure out with where in the world it goes.

It's just overall a completely awful Full Conversion/Custom Story that I absolutely cannot recommend you play. It was a waste of time.

+ New enemies
- Lack of hints make the puzzle is tedious
- Many levels are spacious, dark and empty
- The story is very vague
- You can simply skip the monsters on front of you xD
- Poor english

Phenomenon - a custom story that has the potential to be quite marvelous but, is evidently pushed down by some of its awful key aspects.

Throughout the entirety of the mod I decided to write a list of all of the things that I liked; as well as all of the things that became a nuisance. I want this review to be one that is looked at for how good the mod is but, also as a gateway for criticism into what could be improved in the authors next horror show. Let me first start off with things that I liked the most as these subjects should mostly stay the same as for I have the least to talk about with these.

I extremely liked the custom assets and the Hollywood-esque feel to the mod. It was something entirely new to the same old amnesia world and it gave a breath of fresh air for long tern Amnesia players like myself.

I also enjoyed some of the custom sounds that were added into the game such as riding the bicycle or the camera sounds as it surveyed the backyard. May I also point out at this time that I loved the way the camera was done and if there was more of that in the game as a strategic play style then I would be thrilled.

Now although these may not be entirely all that much in a list but, considering it's a lot to add to the game it is extremely impressing.

The bad, however seems to out way the good in many spots:

First things first is that darkness does not equal scary; all it equals is annoyance and displeasure for the player. I've had to turn my gamma up many times because it was so dark during the night time scenes that I just couldn't see anything at all. Maybe if the player had the opportunity to turn the lights overhead on and off then it may be different but, there seems to be only three light switches in the entire game and they're for three relatively pointless rooms.

The monster was also beyond not scary. It was basically the penumbra monster and nothing too new to encounter. The shadow man entity scared me more than anything, especially when he is encountered for the second time in the laundry room. Other than that the suitor is used about three times but, disappears off into the darkness of the caves.

Another thing that was in the annoyance range was the awful quality control for the map levels. In the actual amnesia game, walls and fog are used for a reason so that everything doesn't have to render in all at once nor does it have to bog down the player's game with all the stuff to see. adding this into the game will make everyone's experience so much better. Although the skyline is cool, quality is more important than beauty.

Probably the last thing that annoyed me was also defiantly the most, and that was the flashlight goose-chase-with-no-hints puzzle. I wandered around for around an hour before I gave up and looked into the level editor of Amnesia to figure out what to do. The use of the crowbar is in the most out of the way spot that I was completely surprised it was even in the same room as the place you find it! Unless somebody was using that crowbar on EVERYTHING then nobody was going to find it. Now I may have missed a hint that the crowbar was to be used there but, boy did it frustrate me to have to take a peak into the level editor to figure out what to do. Although that was the one time I used the editor, It most certainly wasn't the last time I got lost for it seemed everything was a puzzle with no hints. Find the phone... Where? Escape the monster... but, don't go outside and try and get away. Instead go upstairs and to the rooftop so you can kill the monster there. I just always felt confused.

In conclusion: This mod had the makings and care it needed by an author who really tried with custom assets, sounds, and music to prove it but, it was all the little annoying things such as ridiculous puzzles, annoying darkness with little to no batteries, and the constant confusion that really pushed my crazy meter over the edge.

This is a really strange buggy mod. The frame rate inside the oddly designed house is choppy. There are lots of invisible walls blocking your way. The outside sky is also boxed in where you can see lines around the corners with a strange looking background too. The Russian to English translation is poor. And the tasks are dull such as sleep, eat, wash, shower, ride your bike, watch tv, play music, wash again, sleep again, etc. I also experienced a crash to the desktop. This mod was not a keeper for me.

This mod have much potential, I really liked it overall. All the activities like taking a shower and day after day it gets interesting and scary. I truly was scared at points when you have to "see at surveillance camera that stranger" then it gets really interesting and terrifying. Design was alright, but many rooms missed so much stuff, I loved all new textures, it was really refreshing and unique to play it, it just misses even more action, difficult puzzles and even more deeper and depth storytelling with many twists.

Pos:

- New style and design
- Day and night times
- Activities
- Scary moments

Neg:

- Couple bugs
- Some moments are predictable
- Sometimes really confused where to find items to progress
- Enviroment coule be more detailed

Great job on this one, if you make sequel make it more interesting, extreme detailed and something even more unqiue stuff, because you have potential and refreshing things in this mod. Well done!

7/10 - Worth to play and experience this terrifying little gem

The story is pretty boring: go to sleep, go to eat, go to the shower ...
The environment is nice, but pretty empty.
I spent a lot of time to find the phone.
Because it was invisible (first technical problem).
The end is incomprehensible.
I had not fear. No scared.
Too bad, you could build a story best than this, with entities more aggressive and events more scary.
Good project, but without salt...
5/10 average
