Petrograd: an action-thriller first person shooter. Enter the shoes of a Black-Ops Special Agent, investigating the disappearance of a full city's population overnight. An eerie atmosphere and immersive environments are just the beginning, nothing is quite what it seems in this suspenseful experience set in post-USSR Eastern Europe. The purpose of this project was to create a trailer with near triple-A quality, that goal was achieved on Feb 2009, and thus this project has concluded. The studio has since turned pro and continues to produce commercial games. Thanks for you support.
it looks so awesome, but maybe a black finish instead of brown, would be better, looks to russian.
Well it looks Russian because it is Russian lol.

omg, i feel like an idiot, then excellent job! As far as looking russian and looking kick ***, u hit the nail right on the head!
Oooh, perfect. I want to try this!
sick
Cool, looks like it is straight out of the box...
you might want to darken the wood tex a little, but it looks amazing
We may darken the final model a bit, but the model as it is now is quite accurate. The particular SVD look that we're going for has a very bright mahogany-type wood:

Synthetic furniture is better than wood and is what Russia are currently using.
The wood looks fake. Looks like the cheap floor you get in a kitchen.
Model is awesome though.
I think you should use the black finish for the SVD. The old Kalashnikov-esque wood doesn't mesh well with the futuristic aspects of the mod; especially when you've got next gen weapons like the HK-416/7 and guys in post-apocalyptic soldier style uniforms sitting right next to it.
It's not a 'post-apocalyptic' mod. It's a realistic modern setting in Eastern Europe. We chose the wood finish on the SVD for a very specific reason - we want the Soviet/Russian weapons to be old/used in contrast to the 'next-gen' weapons that the American forces are using.
Man... This is the best Dragunov SVD i've ever seen in a mod. Congratulations.
Nice model, but textures are too glance. And do something with YELLOW AMMO!!!
