Pax Romana Aeternum is an in-development alternate history mod based on HPM for Victoria II that envisions a world where the glory of the great states of Europe and Near-Asia never came to an end. A world where the traditional order was upheld and the great powers of the world possess globe spanning empires and compete for dominance in the age of steam, blood, and iron. However, winds of change are blowing from the rose gardens of Whitehall to the Summer Palace, a Romantic age of antique glories made new, jacobin plots, and the battle between tradition and reform beckons. Will the Imperial eagles soar to new heights or will the glory of ancestral empires fade into history?

Whenever i try to launch the game with this mod on, it just loads vanilla. I do have HPM

Alright so from my play through so far I have a few suggestions.

Now ottoman cores are still on the levant which do need to be removed as well as the turkish minorities on crete and the like and perhaps moving the turkish culture towards the stepes and also increasing the population there to show if the peoples didn't move.

Next there should be a few event chains like that of the ottomans for the weakening of the empire to add more flavor and instead of calling the east roman empire, it would be better to just call it the roman empire because when the western roman empire fell the title was officially destroyed and then the eastern roman empire because simply just the roman empire.

Giving the roman empire egypt's cores so easily maybe a bit to powerful so I would support the idea for allowing you to conquer them but give a little bit more time for the cores to be accepted.

if anyone is having problems with an error on startup, HPM must be in your mod folder for this to work.

Awesome, how about adding Babylonia too as some buffer state between the three, also a decision to reconquer the Italian peninsula, just my thought, great mod

add more flavor for egypt something that can give them fighting edge against the romans so you can hava good war/s

you may have /s, but that's something I've been trying to figure out. I'm making it so 50% of the time Persia will join Egypt in War, and 50% of the time it won't.
