Paranoia - it is a our single-player modification for Half-life. You will play the role of a russian officer of the secret service. Your first impressions are that this mission will be just like any other, but you really have no idea what nightmares future events have in store for you...

4/10 - Agree Disagree

It was amazing.. and I'm not even a fan of horror. I come from a post-USSR country myself so I can appreciate all the structures and architecture, they look just like in real life. I loved that every single thing was remapped and most of the weapons were all new. The story was pretty cool too, and I never expected to see anyting like that root thing , which apparently controlled the monsters, in a HL mod game. It was very well done.

However, here are some things that I found frustrating (I understand that the mod was released long time ago and most likely won't get updated anymore, but anyway):
1) It was WAY too short. Seriously, I expected some more missions before the final credits..
2) The AI was not that clever. My NPCs got stuck a few times and I was actually hurt by a monster only once during the play (I played on Medium).
3) The music is very good. I loved every single note, it mostly gave an amazing atmosphere, good job guys. However, it doesn't have to be looped. Come on. Music cutting away only after all the enemies in the area are dead, this takes away some suspense from me because I know I'm safe and I don't have to check rooms anymore.. it's just not that interesting anymore.
4) Did I say it was too short?

I'm hoping for a second part :) All the best, uda4i, pacani!
