This s pretty much the exact same place as the previous pic but with mst of the Terrain replaced by my own ones and obviously some new trees and bushes... and optimization.

I'm still testing as to how much effect all these dam trees will have on FPS so in the end there might not be as much as you see here. Or perhaps even more. Not sure. Don't get too happy lol.

Oh and lighting is different compared to previous one. Main reason the trees are lighter. Old pic was late afternoon, this is in the morning.

You guys are too used to the CnC3 models. Very heavy contrast and shiny parts with reflections etc.

Thats actually not realistic for me. Most tanks and armoured vehicles are not shiny or remotely reflective.

Most of the vehicles I have now are still fresh from ZH though but they will probably still look mostly like the ones you seen so far, just with some more detail.

No the problem is just because they lack the detailed worn look of the enviroment. They don't need to be dirty it's just that they don't fit into the enviroment.
The color looks too uniform.

Try simply this:
Large exposed areas paint them with a soft brush in white color and set the layer of it to soft light.

Worn areas or corners of plates where usually dirt collects and so on can be painted in black color and then set to soft light too.
I do this too all of my textures just a bit more complex but these 2 easy steps can break the monotone look.

Oh thats what you mean...

The units are not supposed to be like that. They never were. The lack of rust, scratches and dirt/dark spots are planned.

At first they were full cartoon style but then I added texture, which had fake dark spots and lighting in ZH(because the shader there was not good).

There is still fake shading but I lessened it because CnC3 engine doesn't need as much.

Its planned for them to be a bit plain like this. The detail I will add will make them better though.
