This is a Nambu 92, LMG, I think it might be used for Jap MG squad.

The Japanese tanks will not have an MG upgrade option for the hatch, only a Cupola MG
Looks a bit like a 20mm MG/FF a German Aircraft weapon Oerlikon license maybe this is a oerlikon derivate?
