Hi, all! We have updated the mod with some new changes and all, based on the recent feedbacks. Hope you enjoy it!
Player
- Added squad icon for the following teammates (blue for black mesa staffs, green for HECUs)
- Improved Sprint ability a bit.
- Crouching does not produce footsteps anymore
Weapons
Not much is changed but these are the changes from the previous update:
Slot 1
- Pipe Wrench: Added "ammo count" for how long have you "charging" it.
- Knife: Added secondary fire for stab. Backstabs now deal fatal damage.
- Barnacle Grapple: No changes
Slot 2
- Beretta: Added burst fire mode
- Desert Eagle: Laser is now permanently available. Rate of fire and accuracy are increased.
- Sniper Rifle: Changed the weapon logic, similar to Counter-Strike (2x scope, unzoom after each shot)
- Tau Cannon (Gauss Gun): Can be obtained twice from the game in secret areas.
Slot 3
- M4: Grenade has stronger velocity
- Shotgun: Delayed shotgun shell (when pumping). Narrower firing spread on primary fire.
- Crossbow: No changes
- M249: Accuracy increased when croucing, decreased when moving and jumping.
Slot 4
- RPG: No changes
- Displacer Cannon: Direct hit will kill the monster. Indirect hit will make the portal absorb nearby monsters and gib them to nearby area.
- Spore Launcher: Has nice lighting when fired
- Shock Roach: Right click to increase armor. Does not auto replenish ammo anymore
Slot 5
- Hand Grenade: Right click for toss.
- Satchel: Press USE key to recollect thrown satchel
- Tripmine: Right click to defuse planted Tripmines
- Snark: No changes
Items
- Items are now affected by physics.
- Can press the USE key to collect items, especially when stuck
Monsters
Male Assassins
- Weapons: M4, Shotgun, Sniper, M249. Weapons at random, except when specified
- Drop smoke grenades when on cover
Female Assassins
- Has special skin when attacked by blast damages
- Use Crossbow and silenced Beretta
- Invisible in all difficulties, but the invisibility rate differs
HECU Torch
- Added ELight for his cigar and torch
- Give you batteries if your armor is below 50
HECU Ally
- Added -1 weapon for unarmed HECUs
- Added a special trigger that can change their weapons
Shock Trooper
- Added orange variant that is equipped with Spore Launcher
Voltigore
- Added ELight for better recognition in dark areas
- Projectile attacks produce purple dynamic lights
- Baby Voltigore can now do ranged attack, but weaker
Headcrab
- Stopped when attacked during mid air
Gonome
- Throw head gibs instead of blood splatter
Barnacle
- Can now trap headcrabs and grenades
Two New Monsters Added
- CIA Agents: Leaders use Desert Eagle and Satchel while members use Dual Beretta and Flashbang
- HEV Grunt: Who said Black Mesa does not have any resistant forces? Drop battery on death
Misc
- Dying monsters now does not have collision box
- Monsters do not magically know your position anymore when you are too near
Maps
- Added of3a3 map: After "gordon" map, before Crush Depth.
- Edited some maps to include CIA agents
- Edited some maps to add Black Ops Osprey
- Added lobby map
- Restored some cut voices and sounds
Can you move Sniper rifle to Slot 3 and Gauss Gun to Slot 4?
Because in Slot 2 this is handguns, like in original Half-Life 1.
And also Slot 3 this is two-handed firearms.
Slot 4 this is Special weapons.
Slot 5 this is throwables.
