Fascinating...
While my English isn't that great either replace "chosed" with "chosen". People have been chosen to do something they haven't been chosed that word doesn't exist like that.
Your mission isn't to wait till the portal warms up.
The real mission is to investigate something. So scratch that line. Because it is obvious for the player in the game that he has to wait till the portal opens up.
Then perhaps write it so:
your squad has been chosen for this mission as it's members consists only of elite ranked soldiers.
has not have as the word "squad" indicates an object not the people or you in this particular case.
native English speakers correct me if I'm wrong I'm certainly not a teacher. :D
Anyway I hope that helped you a little & nice work keep working on it.
Gonna look into it in the next days when I'm releasing the demo version.
