This mod is being made for those who love stargate and would like an rpg game from it, it is not a total conversion, but just a small mod which adds the ability to travel to different worlds through a stargate placed somewhere in Cyrodill.
Just a quick heads up for whats in this post, the ideas Ive had over the past couple weeks, the problems Ive had since the last post, the progress so far and of course what I have to do next....

Right, so first off Id like to explain that the mod will definately not be in any state of release anytime soon, sorry but Ive had a lot to do in my life lately and havent found much chance to get a lot done. I havent gotten much further since my last post other than the majority of the Ancient/Alteran/Asuran buildings have been completed and most of the other races have had their buildings at least started on.
Ive ran into one major problem that is beginning to really bug me, my Oblivion Construction Set keeps failing, then I re-install and within a day or so it fails again, delaying a lot of things, when it fails it just refuses to open so I have to re-install it each time. Another problem is textures, not a big deal to some, but it is to me and theres no point in me releasing a textureless mod. Ive been able to texture some things but most at the moment are generic textures like wood/metal etc. And the last problem is getting the models into the OCS, they either go in and collision doesnt work at all, or they go in with collision working and the models inside out so Im obviously doing something wrong and I need to get that sorted out.
The ideas I have been thinking about is to do with the upcoming release of Fallout: New Vegas, it has been confirmed that the modding tools will be available on release, which is perfect since then I will see the new features and find out if they have improved the nav-mesh stuff. If it is improved to a point where I can use it propely with minimal problems then I am considering shoving the mod into New Vegas. This means either carrying on with the Oblivion version very slowly alongside New Vegas, or halting the Oblivion version completely till I complete the version on New Vegas. I am leaving this decision up to everyone who reads this far (one of the reasons I left this for last). I will create a new poll in the forums, here you have the option to decide, I need at least 20 votes by the end of next week or else I wont bother continuing the Oblivion version at all.
Thanks to those who vote.
