Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional development of a Kosovo conflict.

The mod features three different sides - the German Bundeswehr, the British Royal Army and the Serbian VSCG - engaging in the rough and mountainous terrain of kosovo.

All three use state of the art military weapon systems, like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces.

The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village somewhere in the mountains, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops. Each map also covers another aspect of gameplay - some of the maps are rather small and feature intensive close
quarter infantry battle, while others take place in more open but still hilly locations which are perfect for tanks supported by helicopters etc..

I've packed a testbuild as a full install file, that inlcude a lot of new vehicles and two maps for testing. Now i need some testers for all that stuff and you are welcome to join.

What is included in the beta 0.43 ?

What is the main focus of the betatest?

All vehicles must be tested for playability with the actual published OPK content. Then there are two maps in this testbuild. The map "Border Control Day2" has the main function to test the new vehicles. This map has no optimized vehicle combination for public play and is not balanced. It serves only as a playground for the new heavy toys. The new map "Thunderclap" must be tested of playability and whether the vehicle combination fits. If there are any other ideas for combinations, you should write them in the betatest forum. Ideas and suggestions are welcome.


What do i need for the betatest?

  • registration on battlelog.co and the Revive Launcher
  • registration in our OPK Forum to become the rights for the internal betatest-forum
  • posting in this thread to join
  • beta build 0.43 (all testers get the downloadlink in the OPK Forum)

A date for the betatest has not yet been fixed, but the date and further infos you get in the internal betatest forum. If you got registered in the OPK forum and got the rights for the internal forum, you can download the testbuild 0.43. So you can test the vehicles on your local game, but without bots. The sp/coop support for the new vehicles and maps is not done yet.

The OPK testserver has not yet been set up, but all necessary data can be found in the internal forum.

I would be glad if many would participate in the betatest.

it is so much fun of course bf2 is more developed and slightly better, its great for extra maps guns and fun. works with revive

Hi, I have a bit of a problem. for some reason when I open the mod it starts to work but it brings me to the regular BF2 menu screen but with a grey background and when I try to play single player it crashes. Could you please help me? Thanks :D

for begining try to start the OPK in windowed mode - in shortcut properties in Object, for example how is in my cause "D:\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/opk2 , add to this path that command +fullscreen 0, should be - "D:\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/opk2 +fullscreen 0.when bf2 CTD will be show a cause error.
for second - delete your Battlefield 2 folder from folder My Documents/or replace it from there in other folder/
and for third - sorry for my english))

Thank you for replying but unfortunately this did not solve my problem. When I did this it sent me a message that read, "StaticMesh.fx(2): error X1507: failed to open source file: 'mods/xpack/shaders/datatypes.fx'" also you English is on point :)

look what I find when I googleied))) your error - you must istall bf2 with xpack(Battlefield 2: Special Forces).and patch the game to version 1.4, and then v1.5 if its need.and then install OPK.
delete all old bf2 shaders cache who you find in folder "My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache"

the first link(in my replay)is link for "Desktop Shortcut File and "BPC SP Maps" Fix".
you must to open this .rar, find in the folder "BPC Singleplayer Maps Fix" this file - objects_server.zip, and drop it in the "...Battlefield 2\mods\opk2\levels\common_sp" directory.that it's all ))
and how I wrote early this not solve the all maps CTD.

Yep it started working, but I do you know what maps have air vehicles and also do you know if another patch is being made to fix the other maps.

Hi, sorry, atm the maps with sp/coop has no jets. We are working on that and on the maps. But i must rework/code all OPK vehicles for AI support and that takes lot of time. I do my best to get a functionally bot support with all vehicles and big maps.

on these working maps air vehicles is not present.about patch - I don't know, but I think that these problems will be fixed)
