thats the problem though, like this Terminators would be just as tall as regular space marine. while they're easily a whole head length taller.
no, it wouldn't make sense as the marine shouldn't be able to fit in perfectly like this shows. but its WH40K, it doesn't need to make sense :)
I think terminators have a larger body mass than your usually SM's , if you really think about it they must have different sized SM's.
actually no, since the vanguard veterans and the like can still be fielded as terminators, so they cant be bulkier than regulars, else they wouldnt fit in regular power armor, which they also wear giving the situation. It is more that the armor is way bulkier not the marine and the added giant generator on the back of the terminator to keep the thing running might give the apearance of a wy larger marine than actualy in the thing.

Somewhat closer to canon, Space Marines keep growing as they get older, so Terminator armour would be a lot bulkier and larger than regular Space Marines, not to mention that the SM of old were all a lot older and therefore larger than the current generations.
The Terminators in DoW 2 are closer to the scale in canon, small heads with very large armour when compared to DoW 1's really large heads with small armour.
