My edited version of the famous Narodnaya Solyanka Joint Pak 1 mod.
this is my review of "NS Joint Pak PLO K MA" which is the base of def1's "JP1 enhanced". So I assume that the storyline of this two mods are >99.99% compatible.
I have played thru about 97-98% of this mod, have missed one optional questline. To my own install I have done some modding by myself which (I think) is partly integrated into def1's "JP1 enhanced".
The mod is relatively stable, I had no greater difficulties or gamebreaking bugs so far. Also I had no corrupted savegames (but CtD's happen). Translation is very good, there are some russian words or cyrillic characters every now and then, but in general the texts are very good to understand.
There is one new questline to integrate the CoP maps (Zaton, Jupiter, Jupiter Underground and East Pripyat) into the mod. This questline is .. difficult, in terms of fights. There are several other (often artistic) fetch/bring questlines that mostly act in the well known southern territories. There are no new quests or questlines involving Generators or Dead City or the CoP levels (besides the above mentioned).
I have more than once done dmx-dkz-02, most of Boutchs's dmx-1.3.5 and parts of StalkerSoup, and several versions of the Collector mod integrated into StalkerSoup.
All in all this is the best experience I had with the different variations of Narodnaya Solyanka I have played so far. Nevertheless I'm ambivalent, because the storyline is a bit unbalanced. The CoP maps are integrated, but there are none/very less quests acting at the above mentioned maps. Also the new questlines are of relative simple fetch/bring style, the great plot of Narodnaya Solyanka (that ends at the begin of the Lightning quests) is not expanded further.
It's a great mod with a lot of good characterstics, but .. there is also field where it could be improved
