Noir is a Half-Life 2 modification that tries to capture style, mystery, action, and suspense into a multiplayer experience. In each map, one person begins as a vampire and the others as hunters. What sets Noir apart, however, is that the map is populated with NPC civilians, with whom the vampire and hunters both blend in. Hunters must find and kill the original vampire before they themselves are killed or all civilians are killed or converted to vampires. The vampire must attack and convert civilians to vampires without being detected by the hunters. If a vampire attacks a civilian in a crowded area, the other civilians will scream and run, alerting any nearby hunters. Once a civilian has been turned, the vampire has a degree of control over them, allowing him to send them on attack or to blend in, trying to discover the hunters' location or destroy them outright. If a vampire manages to successfully attack a hunter, the hunter becomes a vampire, aiding their once prey. Noir...
This is a work-in-progress render of the Stake
Revolver, one of the many weapons that will be at
the disposal of the hunters in Noir.
The end of the barrel will detach for quick
reloading of a new roll of stakes.
Lovely, bet it takes a lot of time to reload :P
Actually, the whole end where the stakes are attached drops off when empty, allowing for a fast insertion of a second roll.
Trust me, I love Vampire-Slayer mod. I respect the whole genre, but this isn't anything personal, but this seems sloppy. I'd love to see a vampire mod that was decent for Half-life 2, but this is crap. Skins and model, yuck.
it is pretty nice i think... and even if the model is **** or w/e that isnt the actual game.. and thats the most important part.. is if it feels nice.. if its a well made game i dont give a **** about the models ;D... nice work guys.. keep it up
