This mod aims to recreate the atmosphere of the period of the War of the Grand Alliance, also known as the Nine Years War. The mod will reflect the transition from matchlock to flintlock and from pike to bayonet. There will be a new faction (the Cossack Hetmanate and the Jacobites). The mod will incorporate some units of the Hetmanate TW mod with some changes to reflect the late 17th century.

This regiment was raised in 1694 from Free Companies in Navarre. In the 17th century, Spain did not have a major history of recruiting dragoons. The first Tercio (regiment) of dragoons had been raised in 1676. Before then, what tended to happen is that dragoons were raised from Free Companies in Flanders and sent to Spain for a short period,
