This mod aims to recreate the atmosphere of the period of the War of the Grand Alliance, also known as the Nine Years War. The mod will reflect the transition from matchlock to flintlock and from pike to bayonet. There will be a new faction (the Cossack Hetmanate and the Jacobites). The mod will incorporate some units of the Hetmanate TW mod with some changes to reflect the late 17th century.
This regiment was raised in Silesia 1672 (first as the Wopping regiment and from 1678 the Limburg-Styrum regiment). In 1676 the entire regiment was located to Hungary. It served continuously with the main army in Hungary in 1683-94. Nearly all Austrian dragoons wore red or blue coats, with different facings and sometimes shoulder ribbons. Unlike the French dragoons, they wore hats rather than caps.
