The transformation of Nightmare House 2 into a multiplayer COOP game which you want to replay over and over again. Thanks for watching, unfortionately due our long search for a mapper to undertake some coop edits was never found. The good news is we can focus on our other mods now. We did have ep 1 and some cool aspects for the game working in coop, it was a lot of fun, and with regret we are archiving the project.

Hello horror fans,

We welcome you to our new modification which will be much more than standard Nightmare House 2 played in Coop.

So here is the deal: We have permission from “We create Stuff” we started creating the official Coop modification two weeks ago. As you saw it’s playable and functional right now. We posted some screenshots to show some real ingame footage. But its a long way from finished.

So why don’t you release in 2 weeks then?

Well, good point, but that isn’t what we are supposed to achieve with this mod. Have you played any horror Multiplayer game of the last few years? Without doubt some are really good, like Left4Dead, but seriously for a moment, have you ever felt the real horror in a MP session? Talking in Skype and covering each other’s
backs at any time results in no horror at all. But we think that we have the right ideas to change that, so you can cry some moar.

This is not modding, this is converting??!

No, sorry you are not right about that. Converting is only step one, but adding features and
something that we can’t tell you right now is the second. Placing new spawn points and building a MP client is not what this is all about.

There are so many areas that need changing to get coop working. As part of that we have a lot of questions we want the modding community to help decide upon. So please check back soon and we design this together to make a coop experience we can all enjoy.

And how do you plan on solving events like ///SPOILER/// when you are in the vent and it keeps changing , do you just make 1 wall and the other player will be left out ?

Theres lots of events like this we need to address :)
Where we have to replace these areas we will test it all through and get testers feedback.

Ok i think the best way would be to make a trigger to detect if a player is standing on the area where the wall will be triggered , in that case the trigger will fire constantly the output to disable the main trigger.
Then when the player leaves the trigger , also i think that might be OnEndTouch the main trigger will be enabled so the wall will toggle , or if you need my idea help just ask me , i will be glad to help this mod goin on.
