This mod has been in development since 2007. Some major features are: Corpses of the fallen will now permanently stay, population caps have been increased, and new units. Each faction receives one hero unit, you can play with and against any faction, and there are Heroes, crazy stuff (like The Maus, Powell, zombies,...). It also contains an Infantry Only mode, Early war mode, No Pop-Cap mode, and Quick Start mode in the victory conditions. This mod is only for fun! If you are looking for complete realism, try another one. Some combiners with other mods like Star Wars Frontlines - The Galactic Civil War & Eastern Front are also available.

The only Horten 229 which was ever made crashed during testing. The Second prototype was under construction when it was captured by the Americans.
And even if it was ever made it was designed as a High Altitude Fighter-Interceptor flying at an altitude of +14Km (to put it in perspective, today's airliners fly at 10km).
The Horten 229 was more of a test bed for the projected AmerikaBomber which would have flown from France to Eastern US Coast to drop Nuclear Bombs.
Oh and i guess that the fact that you can have up to 8 maus tansk at onc eon the battlefield is realistic, coem on man a horton would be nice to have ingame, not just a wjite blurr (like that make seven more sencse)

And with the Horton 229, if the developers of this mod do not wish to put it in the mod, then that is that, its their choice. Just like its your choice to not play the mod if you do not like it. :D

The Horten 229 was a High Altitude Fighter/Interceptor. So what would you want it to do? Shoot tanks while flying at 800km/h at an altitude of 300m?
You would pass by entire villages without clearly seeing them -.- if you would be flying that.
Zombies are used for what they were intended, so is the MAUS and Eselshreck. No problem there.
You can not use a tank destroyer to shoot down bombers, It's just not what it was designed for. Just like the Horten 229 was not a close air support bomber, thats what Ju88s are for ;)
