N3O Patch 1.3z3Ra Added Pack

A large modification that enhances Asian Dynasties game-play greatly, without changing the way the game is played. It adds New Treasures, New Types of Land and Water Trade Routes, and has a Custom AI that plays all civilizations and uses all the new content in the game. Over 100 new technologies to research, balance changes and more! There are also more civilizations for humans to pick from, including these: Malta, Black's Mercenaries, United States, Pirates, The Circle (Confederates), Native Americans, East India Company, Italians, Swedish. There are Special AI mods versions of the Freestyle, Klaxon, N3O Better AI TAD 1.03 Gold made for this Added Pack that use the new content. It is recommended to use Custom Random Map Scripts, which use the New Treasures and New Trade Routes. Matches work online if all players have installed! It takes 1 minute to install, 1 minute to uninstall; it is a copy and paste install. Full added new feature details are included in the download in a text document.

This is a later release than the N3O Patch 1.3z3Qc Added Pack.

One that builds on the previous creation and fixes things up.

It is more like the original game, with these exceptions:

- Added Pirates Civilization
- Added The Circle Civilization
- Added Native American Civilization
- Added East India Company Civilization
- Added Italians and Swedish Civilizations

- Expanded United States Civilization
- Warships have original speed and turn rate
- Warships have original carry capacity
- Mercenaries have mostly original stats
- Native Warriors have mostly original stats, but sill have increased build limit
- Added extra unit sounds for the new units for the new civilizations
- Nature units have original stats
- Economic units have hitpoints, population cost, speed
- Outlaw units have mostly original stats
- Consulate units have equivalent stats of their representative units
- Artillery units have mostly original stats

Remember on N3O Patch you will need to copy in the N3O version of homecitySPCAct1, homecitySPCAct2, homecitySPCAct3, homecitypirate, homecitythecircle, homecitynativeamerican, homecitySPCCompany, homecityitalians, homecityswedish from the Goes to Program Files --> data folder after you install these.

If you just want single player Malta, Black's Mercenaries, United States, Pirates, The Circle, Native American, East India Company, Italians, Swedish then install this patch and install Level 131 Homecities mentioned above.

- Knights of Saint John civ gets Veteran, Guard, and Imperial Upgrades for it's Troops

- Knights civ gets Frigates and Monitors and Imperial Upgrades for these
- Knights civ gets Royal Guard Upgrades for Lancers and Pikemen
- Knights civ given access to more Politicians up to Colonial, Fortress, Industrial and Imperial Age

The DataPY.bar file goes into Age of Empires III - bin

The Contents of the Data folder goes into Age of Empires III - bin - data

Backup of these is included in case you want to uninstall.


Place contents of Custom Mercenaries File + Water Trade Route into:

Program Files (86x) - Steam - steamapps - common - Age of Empires III - bin - data

This will give you 8 Mercenaries at the Saloon + New Map Specific Technologies + Water Trade Routes


Place contents of Build anywhere during Treaty into:

Program Files (86x) - Steam - steamapps - common - Age of Empires III - bin - data

This allows free placement of buildings during treaty period


Place contents of Goes to Program Files, data folder into data:

Program Files (86x) - Steam - steamapps - common - Age of Empires III - bin - data

It will give you text descriptions for the new technolgies and new units.

It will also add New Treasures to the game for New Custom Maps.

This additionally gives updated Homecity Cards and New Map Types and New Politicians + Trade Route types

It also gives abilities to some of the new ship units, and tactics folder gives new functions for units.

And lastly it gives the new civs.xml file that governs new civilizations and starting units.


Place contents of Goes to Program Files, art folder into art:

Program Files (86x) - Steam - steamapps - common - Age of Empires III - bin - art

These give the art files for the new units involved and art for new trade routes.


Place contents of Goes to Program Files, Sound folder into Sound:

Program Files (86x) - Steam - steamapps - common - Age of Empires III - bin - Sound

This will add Sound for the new units and buildings in this Added Pack.


Place Contents of AI3, AI 14 - N3O Klaxon (The New AI) folder into:

Program Files (86x) - Steam - steamapps - common - Age of Empires III - bin - AI3

This install the Custom New AI that uses the content in this Added Pack.


Then you're finished installing this Added Pack!
