55 Monster Hunt (MH) maps curated by Hermskii et al for their Monster Hunt Mayhem {MHM} server from 04/20/05 to 03/19/07.
{MHM} has only been a functional Monster Hunt server since 04/20/05, yet it has already hosted well over 100,000 games.

I continued with my efforts due to the prodding of Nameless and Scify and now BlondeHottie too. Eventually, {MHM} evolved into one of the top 3 busiest MH servers around or at least it was. All of us devoted our efforts to locating quality maps and recruiting new players.

Includes all of the maps I'm running as of today 03/19/07 on MHM. This file won't always be current as I don't have time to update my web-server every time I add a new map but it will contain at least many of the maps I use at any given time. -House of Hermskii {HOH} (original download link)

Installation
Each map is in its own folder, so you'll be extracting them manually. Some include readme, music, etc. files. Below is a general guide taken from one of them.
Guide:
*.unr and *.ut2 files go in Maps\
*.utx files go in Textures\
*.umx and *.ogg files go in Music\
*.uax files go in Sounds\
*.u, *.int, and *.ini files go in System\
Generally speaking, always be careful overwriting existing files, especially if you aren't using a fresh install.
Requirements
Some maps require Bonus Pack 4, (maybe Bonus Pack 1?), UT Patch v436 (or newer) and Oldskool (outdated version usually included).
MH-Kitarra Fix
Robin 'Rob' Pamart's MH-Kitarra map requires Mychaeel's Screen component, which is no longer hosted on FilePlanet and PlanetUnreal is gone. Fortunately, there's a simple solution. Just download MH-Kittara from Unreal Archive, which includes the Screen.u, ScreenFonts.utx, and ScriptedScreen.utx files.
Filenames Changed
Be aware that the maps were all renamed from their (original and intended) short name to their (in-game) long name. And what happens when you have two identical map files with different filenames? No clue. 🤷🏿♂️
Miscellaneous
Keep in mind that I'm just the uploader. I had and have nothing to do with the files, websites, or servers, so we both might end up waiting for someone to answer certain questions in the comments. :|
The preview image was inspired by Strangelove Map Pack 1's here on ModDB.

Through the years I have been asked by many other players and administrators how I did certain things related to setting up UT Player Installations and setting up UT Servers. I no longer have the time to do this so I made this very simple and unpolished manual in the hopes that it may help anyone who actually tries to use it. It's not the best. It has typos and other errors but overall it works well. If you use it and find a problem with it please let me know so I can correct it. To download it now, just click the link below.
