This mod intends to add various weapons from all around the globe to Misery mod, weapons of every stalker's dream. Suggestions, Feedbacks and points of view are very welcomed ! Have fun with these new toys !
First of all, this one is coming straight from Metro 2033, there is just no way on earth this thing can't fit in STALKER, both games are similar in many aspects, so why not have some of Metro guns in STALKER ? we do have some already, I'm just bringing a some more.
Now here is the news that might split TAZ fans into two parties, I have been looking so hard for a good GP100 model, sadly nothing, the only thing I could find was assets to buy in some web sites. The current GP100 is damn old, and it just does not fit anymore with TAZ, old textures, low polygons with sharp edges, and I don't want to keep any of the old models around, so the plan I came up with was to replace the revolver with something different, that's where this revolver came to my mind, an old, cheap, yet a powerful handgun, chambered in .44 magnum cartridges, quite a nice change compared to the former revolver.
Aside from the change in caliber, this revolver has an extra feature which should make it more interesting than the GP100, in fact, it'll be a unique feature to this revolver only. With the help of any technician you will have an extended barrel installed. The main benefits from the extended barrel are as follow : Higher muzzle velocity "Longer firing distance"; Additional muzzle weight which leads to less recoil kick. These two features are quite handy when it comes to quick shooting from a handgun.
Let me know your opinion stalkers, I could have used any other model, but I chose this one for its origin, Metro 2033. Survarium also has a nice revolver, I'll look into it later, might add it as well, it's just another stalker game :3

While this gun really is cool, especially with the long barrel, the cut in the long barrel and the DIY-style of the long barrel kind of trigger my OCD.
So a revolver with a factory made 8 inch barrel (or even longer) would be *smashing* :D
Nethertheless, excellent work, will remind me of all the Nosalis I killed with it :)

Tell me, the extended barrel version of the .44, does it have more acc and recoil?
more accuracy, muzzle velocity and damage, recoil won't be higher but handling will be worse

You're nuts, man. All this work is breathtaking and I'm sure we can all agree that we can hardly bear the wait. Even so, I'm sure everyone agrees that the longer Misery takes to release, the more guns you'll add. However, I do have ONE, just one suggestion I feel I'm responsible to make. In the last major release of The Armed Zone, the revolver were absolutely beautiful. Even so, I felt they were unusable due to the way recoil was represented. The .357 Magnum, I believe it's titled as a 686, would recoil like it was crazy, pulling off to the sides and making rapid fire a bit of a challenge. While this might make it seem distinctive and representative of the power of a "Magnum" cartridge, it's not representative of how that firearm recoils. I've been shooting a Smith and Wesson model 586 in competition for about 4 years now (same gun, different finish) and even with full power magnum loads, recoil is easy to manage and is sharp and straight up. The L-Frame of that series is heavy and it mitigates recoil easily. As such, I think you should change the gun's recoil so it is neater, but a little sharper; making the gun more usable and closer to its real life counterpart. This should probably be applied to all revolvers in the game- keep the recoil sharper but not crazy and long. It'll make them all more lovable.
