META is full conversion mod for the Game Amnesia: The dark descent. The mod is closer to regular Amnesia yet it contains many new things.
Just amazing!
New stuff \ new textures \ new entities!
And some amazing scares and new music.

Only minus is that some parts of some maps are a bit empty but this can be fixed in an upcoming patch.
To be honest really, I didn't really understood what was actually going on in this mod. It had great creativity and scares, but what else was there? I really didn't understand anything of what I was doing.
The story lost me along the way and I never found out why I was in that place to begin with. Maybe I missed a note or something, but it didn't seem that way.
Of course the levels are unlike any I've ever seen (in a good way), but I'm quite sad that the mod didn't have much else to offer. All other than scares, creativity, atmosphere and details, the mod fails on all other aspects.
It's definitely worth a play, but it's lacking stuff.
Awesome mod again from you (if you guys havent played Destiny Rebellion by Umbakarna i advise you to play it) really enjoyed playing through this one, many new things added into the mod, atmosphere was excellent, not over the top jumpscares, looking forward to playing more of your stuff in the future

Amazing mapping, great scares, great atmosphere. This mod really kept me on edge the whole time! You should definitely make a sequel to this story ;) There is absolutely no reason I can come up with to not give this mod a 10/10

I'm Zalzar, the voice actor for the Baron and a scientist in Amnesia: META. I just played it and I'm really proud to be a part of this amazing and well done full conversion mod of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I loved how there were both completely new props and enemies but also things from the old games from the indie game studio Frictional Games. It was a nostalgia trip filled with jumpscares and intense atmosphere. Once again, thanks for letting me be a part of this and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Well that was kind of short, but entertaining to play, sometimes I was feeling design was rushed and really one-linear gameplay, but I still enjoyed it a lot, with new stuff, but sometimes dungeonbase assetts combined new ones, wasn't that great combination in my opinion.
Still scares were good, but I hoped much longer and more interesting areas with more to explore.. however you still succeeded with this mod, showing us something cool and new stuff!
Ending was kind of confusing with chasing things, well I must play the next one so I understand maybe eveything.
Really good job!

Am really loving the new stuff! Like the suitor torsos and moving buzz saw blades, and I see you've used Skashi's moving trees, they really did well for the effects.
(thats what I'll say for now)
