Do they literally shoot Iron Curtain stuff? Damn, I'd wonder what that would actually feel like in real life o.O

I have mixed feelings about the FX, especially about the muzzle lasting way too long (IMHO), but damn, this looks badass. And the vehicle itself looks cool, can't wait for the next news bulletin with more precious sneak peeks.

It lasts that long because it continues to deal damage to anything that comes nearby.

Perhaps I phrased this wrong: I mean the exhaust effect, the glowing red thing "attached" to the barrel, not the projectile detonation effect (this one lasts as long as the created field deals the damage, so no problems here). Unless you mean the tank itself somehow damages everything nearby after each shot, but I guess it is not what you mean. This "muzzle" effect seems to consist of 2 effects: the expanding glowing red circle animation simulating some kind of exhaust effect (when unit is firing) and a collapsing glowing red circle animation which comes right after the extending ring. The collapsing ring collapses too slow, that's what I'm talking about.

Less frames for muzzle is ideal indeed.

So, if you force-fired at your own troops, would they be temporarily invincible?

No, this is uncontrolled, devastating energy. However, if Iron Dragon is destroyed there will be a short Iron Curtain effect around it.

such thing added ingame and balanced well would be a very good support unit.

Is it still a North Korean origin unit like in 2.0?

Or just a unit developed by Russians?

It is stolen technology for Soviets obstained from Side 4. It doesn't have a real country of origin anymore.

The black outline on the warhead effect looks somewhat awkward, IMO.

Good to see the Iron Dragon back as a stolen unit, I wonder what tech is required to be stolen...
