Doesn't seem like a joke to me, although I wonder if this is going to show up in skirmish and MP or will stay as campaign only content.
both units look good but i hope its not joke you know :)
I'm a bit "shocked" and hopeful when I first saw this, but considering that its 1st of April, there's a chance that my expectations will be "ruined."
It's a joke for sure Speeder...
But if they are real:
-Shock Trooper must be a replacement for tesla trooper for russia or it could be a tier 3 infantry with the equivalent of arsonist and eradicator.
-Ruiner could be a epsilon HQ unit as a tier 2.
I'm guessing that the joke here is that it isn't.
That ruiner's attack reminds me of the orb of confusion.
It will give you.....confusion!

Yes, in update 3.3.4 Save/Load functions have been restored.
If I were to guess what the Ruiner’s function was , it would be disabling the weapons of enemy units and from the looks of it creating illusions?
Nope wait that’s not an illusion it’s and area of effect weapon disablement.
So does the Ruiner only effect infantry or all unit types?
