The Hydra is a specialised mobile anti-air vehicle often seen defending important sites and columns from air assaults. Its autocannons are controlled by advanced tracking and targeting equipment and an automated turret, meaning it will track enemy aircraft with little difficulty. This, combined with a high rate of fire, often means the aircraft is doomed. Demand for Hydras always exceeds supply and they are often seen deployed with separate tank units. Many artillery (especially Basilisk) units have a Hydra or two permanently attached.
