I was hoping to somehow incorporate mission briefings in to the beginning of each missions, just like Fireglow and CDV did in Blitzkrieg and Sudden Strike series, then I saw that 1C Company has done the same thing in their MoW Vietnam. :)

they should just cross the river
Not a very good idea to be crossing the river and in to danger. ;]
Cross the river and get shooted down by 4 MG42 is quite a bad idea :)
