Nice work James, just wondering in regards to the houses, could you place them on concrete rather than grass, and possibly space them closer together. The houses seem rather town-y and not like the metropolitan terrace houses.

Around the houses and lighthouse, could you remove the grass and earth and replace it with concrete or cobbles please, im looking for a city look like these pictures of Paris from 1940:

Hey sturm, question, these maps should be created by Men of war or Men of war assault squad editor?

Jun 9 2011 Anchor

I do the Map with the Mow: AS Editor...but the Map is compatible with the Mow Editor too...

Jun 9 2011 Anchor

but in my map possible to place some new better looking textures for map with rain which textures is in MOW:AS , but i'm using men of war editor because I don't know which I must use.

Jun 9 2011 Anchor

I dont know what you want sry my English is to bad... :)

The Mow Editor is neary the same than the Mow: AS Editor. Just the Units like tanks and people arent the same...but I dont will place anythink like this so it is possible to play the Map in Mow and Mow:AS...I just need to change the MG 42 models in the german HQ an the browling MG models in the Allied HQ....thats all.

Update btw: Allied HQ and a new monument...

Jun 9 2011 Anchor

No problem mate, my english also bad, I will show that what I mean in screenshot(not from the map, but in random for example) :)

My update btw 60%

Yes James keep the map been made in normal MoW editor, not the MoW assault squad as there are some textures like you said which arent avalible in the normal MoW editor.

map looks very good so far . but i would make sure to make it not too detailed so it doesnt lag too much. otherwise it wont be playable

Yes, houses definately have the greatest impact on performance, although if you remove shadows from the graphics option even a highly populated map would become easily playable with no shadows.

Less constructions = less lags [Especially on 1k x 1k map]
Less lags = better gameplay
Better gameplay = Totaler Krieg 1939-1945

Simple as that.

Can I see an update on the map please James.

Sorry, but more details = more lags. An surely you don't want them in-game.
Even in such epic mod.

Im sure, if it does lag, alterations can be made. However you must understand that there are some gamers that have sufficient computers to run even the most demanding of maps on the highest of settings, at least there is a choice to play this extra map instead of none at all.

Of course Sturm, 100% agreed.
BUT
Let's say we have a 4v4 match via internet on such map. As you said, some people have sufficient machines to run it perfectly. But only some. Most of people don't. It means, that on 4v4 match, you will propably have super lags (waiting for player etc....)
I don't mind more details. Whoa, i'd love to see them. I'm just trying to explain and find a "golden mean" here. And surely Mister Ryan found it, or is close to do so.
Yep, I agree. Super-PC's and their users will find those maps fantastic. You know, me and many others would like the same. Guess I'll have to install MoW on my brothers laptop xD

Regards
