I'm pretty sure Gordon is from Sweden. Anyway, he's right on the Canadians being tough fighters. They were the storm troopers of WWI.

Actually, Canadians were seen as the elite troops of the allies in World War 1. The German's would dread fighting against the Canadians because then they knew an attack was imminent. Also, Canadians fought very patriotically because men from the same towns would be paired in the same units. They fought for the right to sign the Treaty of Versaille as an independent nation. Learn your history.
