The purpose of this mod is to recreate a medieval atmosphere as close as possible to what we know of the time. The game begins in the 12th century. My priority is therefore to give the player a credible aspect of the costumes and armor worn at the time, the old part seeming to me the most important since a TotalWar campaign is in fact an uchronie (we start from a given time and we change the story).

Having mostly knowledge for Western factions (I am French), I will focus my work on these areas of Europe.

To begin, I am dedicated to changing the units visible on the battlefield, starting with generals who are ridiculously anachronistic in the vanilla version. I would also like to modify the portraits on which the leaders wear the armor of XIV or XV century as well as certain screens of events closer to the war of 100 years than of the golden age of the middle age which is located in the 12th and 13th century. I would also like to be able to modify the characters of the strategic map for the same reasons.

The game is limited in number of units, my idea is to create a specific data file for each period crossed. So my first version will be a 12th century data file that the player can replace with another (find the original at first) when he will judge that the costumes are outdated.

This version unfortunately does not correct graphic bugs due to peasant archers and is only a first part of the work. There should be a new version of SSHIP on which I will adapt my new version.

Requires: A clean version of SSHIP 0.92

Installation:

1 - Download KCC 0.9 and unzip the file
2 - Copy the contents of the folder "data XIIe" in the data folder of SS6.3 and accept the replacement of the files.

To find the original SSHIP mod, copy the contents of the "data original file" folder and accept the replacement of the files.
