Since the late 1980s, a group known as the American Freedom Fighters (AFF) have been trying to overthrow the American Reich and reestablish the United States. Ten years later, the AFF has an army of over 5 million liberals, communists, socialists, moderates, and minorities. On August 29, 1997, the citizens of New York City received the biggest surprise of their lives; an explosion destroyed the ruling party headquarters and government agencies try in vain to reestablish connections to the headquarters. Eight minutes later, the Emergency Alert System has been activated to warn people of an event that may forever change the course of history.
