Mercenaries is a multiplayer modification for Mount & Blade: Warband. It allows you to create your own unique character with its own persistent characteristics and inventory. Your multiplayer experience will be enriched by character customization, new abilities, achievements, maps, clan system and many other features.
Great gameplay ! but not enough players :/
An overall bad mod, and bad gaming experience
Pros:
-A nice conception in terms of player customization, skills, weapons etc.
-Most of the day there are sufficient people to play with
Cons:
-Very bad game mechanics. It has nothing to do with warband. They made it intentionally slow and it's like it has incorporated ping.
-Customization of character doesn't seem to work properly.
In order to see improvement in movement speed for example, you have to give a lot of points to agility. Even if you raise your agility enough players with lower agility doesn't have a major issue catch up with you.
-Many glitches, door glitches attack glitches etc. making it unplayable sometimes
-There are people using cheats
-Due to personal game score (see mbmerc.com) there is lack of teamwork. Everyone pursues personal score over teamwork
Quality
low playerbase with god tier equipment, being 1shot from a sword, and having people dance circles around you to swing at your feet
gameplay is terrible, progression is hindered because of this, going at a snails pace, completely unwelcoming to new players and has a garbage community
Played more than 1000 hours in this mod, and i dont regret it! Excellent enchanted multiplayer gameplay.
terrrrrrrrible. either you have a horse or you get shot from a distance with a arrow.

rpg factor = this will be hell for new players, cause you will see only plated warriors, plated horses, and plated archers. Bad.
Servers = europe servers are good, but low people play on these servers, so is useless.
Basically a an upgrade to the native multiplayer. Allowing you to create custom classes and keep your equipment you should definitely give this a try if you love native multiplayer!

It's really really good mod.It is simplar to cprg,but it's a lot better.No ranks,just create your build and play,thats all.
When you start,you start from scaps.but,we all started from it.
Thic mod can ocuppie your brain for a few month at least.
