I belive the position of the weapons is pretty good. They are in the line of the cocpit, so you would't show a lot from your torso whe you are shooting from a cover. But here comes a question: will this walker and the ANUB-90 be able to crouch? The long legs are effective when you have to run, but in stationary combat they just make you a bigger target.

Yes they will be able to crouch! And even "lean" or sidestep sideways from cover. We might even be able to add crouch and and low crouch if the legs allow it since we have the Arma 3 Stance system to use.

This ones arms rotate so that the gun can be brought a bit higher too, but I believe that will be a quirk just for this design and its variants.

Excuse my hairsplitting mentality, but may I comment on the smoke launchers? The whole design of the mech is one of my favourite in this mod, as I think this beast is kinda iconic (amongst many others). I just find the apperance of the smoke launchers a bit obsolete,
protrusive. I am pretty sure it's mechanism is well-thought, but if we look around in contemporary development of smoke armaments, many tanks in the near future will have sunken launchers-as it seems. Like the polish Pl-01 concept tank : Youtu.be Or the russian Armata: Thaimilitaryandasianregion.files.wordpress.com (Both nowhere to be true actually, they are just fancy concepts). I understand this state is a WIP, sorry for the botheration :)

Good point, have not actually though about embedding them into the hull. Which is weird because just about everything else is already in there under a hatch.

Those sunken launchers are a joke. They're overcomplicated and actually having them sunken in will probably weaken the armor.

If you're referring to the ones on PL-01, I see what you mean and it is not what I had in mind. :D But I will do little update on the launchers so they will fit the overall look better.

Description

Little more refined test texture with less shiny metals and a bit bigger camo pattern.

It is still missing all the details and normalmap, but its enough for the next release. Next up, porting this to ingame asset.
