Felt little nostalgic here this morning as I loaded up the V06 in Blender and got to thinking how much change this single vehicle has gone through since the first iteration of our Arma walker concept.
Heres a comparison shot of the weetiny WK-209 V01 next to the hulking V06 it has grown into in these past couple of years!
you can't make both? the small one can be a anti-infantry drone to walk along the soldiers in patrols & stuff & the big one can be anti-vehicle/tank mech.
Could do sure, but the problem with V01 is that it lacks the structural updates V06 desing has. Like 360 torso twist and much much more wider arm movement.
That said I think the old version will just be archived in the vault and we will build new more appropriate designs for other fighting roles.
I agree with MethaneDude that it would be great to have a smaller, more personnel-sized mech dedicated to anti-infantry roles.
We do have smaller single seated ones planned, like the humanoid prototype I've posted pictures of. And well all kinds of other walker types and tanks and vtols and and and.. :D Lots of stuff!
