Lost Dragons is a multiplayer total modification aiming to bring out a new thrilling gamemode for Arma3 . Our concept is futuristic objective based team warfare with randomly generated map elements to ensure every game is a unique experience with completely new set of units, weapons, structures and terrain.
Map design went through some changes as I had a revelation about some theme elements on it. Also got some new foliage tested (the fern) and also found proper shader for the treeleaves. Full speed ahead!
I think you should work on the map for last. If you can finish your units and release them you can get more attention and more supporters.
You have a point, but as we got 3 people working on different aspects things have to progress a bit evenly. Map needs to be in a certain shape for us to start implementing the gamemode features our coder produces. Also it is a nice change to all the unit modeling.
Man this is a big thing you and your mates wanna make, but i think you should just focus on the units, vehicles, the map, and THEN the gamemode. People is intrested in material that can use, since Arma 3 is a sandbox.
Just an advise: keep posting Alphas and betas, and the material you have finished, so the community can test it and your mod won't be forgotten like Arma 3 Invasion 1944.
Our code wizard focuses on the code as thats his speciality. :D We work on the models and units as much as we can. Wish there were more hours in a day though.
We hope to have a alpha build for some testing by the end of the month!
