Too much texture tiling. Add some different textures for different surfaces, such as cobble for the bridge. That stone texture repeats way too much.

If you read the caption to the right, i said their not finished, really what i meant was, im using them just to get the right colours across while im modeling the geometry, they'll not be seen in the final version :D

looks exactly like the cs 1.6 and source helms deep map.. hope youl come up with something original to make it look more unique

Yeah, its difficult, when their maps are also based on the same reference imagrey :P. But dont worry, there will be a few things that put this one apart from the rest.

Description

This is the progress on Helm's Deep, after one day in hammer, the outer and inner walls are complete, im starting on the great hall, and the large tower next. textures arnt final whatsoever :P, "info_player_starts" are there to show you how big this castle is :)
